For almost 100 years, Griffith Centers has been committed to building brighter futures across Colorado. Our PASA Supported Employment program continues this legacy by empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to gain and maintain meaningful employment. Work is more than a paycheck—it’s an opportunity to build independence, confidence, and connection within the community.
What is Supported Employment?
Supported Employment is designed to help individuals with developmental disabilities prepare for, find, and succeed in the workplace. Through personalized coaching, job development, and on-the-job support, Griffith Centers ensures that each participant has the tools they need to thrive.
Our staff work one-on-one with members to match them with jobs that fit their skills, interests, and goals. We also collaborate with employers to provide training and support so that the workplace is set up for success.
The Benefits of Supported Employment
Work is a vital part of independence and self-worth. Supported Employment creates opportunities for members to develop essential life and work skills while contributing to their communities. With nearly a century of experience serving individuals and families, Griffith Centers is uniquely positioned to guide both members and employers through this journey.
Our Supported Employment program offers:
Career exploration and individualized job matching
Resume development and interview preparation
On-the-job training and coaching
Ongoing support for both employees and employers
Advocacy to ensure inclusive and supportive workplaces
Why Choose Griffith Centers?
Many individuals with developmental disabilities face barriers to employment, from lack of experience to workplaces that aren’t prepared to meet their needs. Griffith Centers bridges that gap by providing wraparound support for both our members and employers. With a proven track record of nearly 100 years, we know how to help individuals succeed while creating positive outcomes for local businesses.
Creating Brighter Futures Together
When individuals with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to work, the entire community benefits. Employers gain loyal and dedicated team members, while individuals gain confidence, independence, and purpose.
Griffith Centers invites employers, families, and community members to join us in this mission. Together, we can continue our legacy of care, building inclusive workplaces and supporting independence for generations to come.
